If you want to study Fashion, you have two interesting options: Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI – HvA), one of the most renowned fashion programmes in Europe, but highly selective and requiring a portfolio and strong motivation; Saxion University – Fashion & Textile Technologies, a programme accessible even to students who do not yet have a portfolio, with a focus on textile innovation, sustainability, and the fashion industry.
Selective programmes: how to apply successfully
These programmes are highly selective. To apply, you need a strong portfolio, a well-written motivation letter, and sometimes creative tasks, interviews, or practical tests. Each academy has different admission procedures and early deadlines, often as early as January or February for a September start.
