Ambassador
Beatrice,
ICT
“The ICT course offered by Fontys is a 4-year program to become a professional in the field of computer science. Since this sector is very broad, Fontys offers various options, allowing you to choose each semester what interests you the most. Some examples include Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Game Design. You will be part of small classes with personalized support from professors and a very practical approach. Personally, I enjoy working on projects, collaborating in groups, and seeing how our ideas take shape. Fontys ICT has a close relationship with companies: starting from the second year, you begin working on projects together with them. The course also includes two semesters of internships to gain professional experience, which you can do at various innovative companies such as ASML, Philips, and DAF Trucks – and perhaps find a job there in the future.”
Davide,
Mechanical Engineering
“The Mechanical Engineering course at Fontys prepares you to analyze, design, and optimize mechanical systems. You will learn to solve real technological problems by combining theory, simulation, and practice. During the program, you will study materials mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and control systems, often working in multidisciplinary teams on projects related to robotics, sustainable mobility, and energy. You will have the opportunity to do internships at high-tech companies in the Brainport Region or abroad.
After four years, you will become an engineer capable of creating solutions for the industry of the future, where efficiency, innovation, and sustainability are at the core.”
Chiara,
Physiotherapy
“I chose to study physiotherapy in the Netherlands because of the unique approach of this program and its strong integration with the professional environment.
Our study path is primarily based on clinical cases, practical assignments, and lessons closely connected to the reality and challenges of the profession.
If you are an organized person, ready to dedicate time to individual study, and are looking for a flexible program that allows you to personalize your path and deepen the topics that interest you, while at the same time gaining a broad and realistic view of physiotherapy, then this could be the perfect program for you!”
