Hai scelto la tua Università e il tuo corso, ma ora devi "entrare" e "superare" la procedura di ammissione. Perdere una scadenza può essere cruciale nei Paesi Bassi. Perchè l'università di solito sono molto rigide. Quindi assicurati di essere ben informato! Abbiamo creato una lista degli errori più comuni:
1. "Mi sono iscritto tramite studielink, quindi ora sono pronto!" Ehh no! Controlla la tua email (e il tuo filtro antispam) per la posta che dovrebbe arrivare dall'Università di tua scelta e segui i passaggi indicati dall'università. Se questa email non arriva entro pochi giorni, qualcosa non è andata bene. Contatta l'ufficio di ammissione dell'Università per verificare se la tua domanda è arrivata.
2. Fare il test di inglese in ritardo: alcune università ti danno il tempo di superare il test fino all'inizio del programma (1 settembre) ma altre lo richiedono prima di chiudere i loro ingressi (quindi 15 gennaio per i programmi di numerus fixus e 1 maggio per altri programmi). Assicurati di avere il tuo certificato in tempo!
3. Attendere con l'iscrizione fino a quando hai superato gli esami in Italia. No!!! Sarai in ritardo se non lo fai prima e non è necessario attendere. È possibile inviare il tuo diploma (o laurea triennale) dopo l'esame. Non farti spaventare dal "sistema di ammissione" che ti chiede sempre il tuo diploma, vogliono solo assicurarsi che tu sappia che devi ancora inviarlo per essere accettato.
4. Istituto Tecnico? Per sfortuna è molto probabile che non sarai accettato in un'università di ricerca, ma non preoccuparti! C'è un modo, potrebbe essere solo un po 'più lungo. Le università di scienze applicate accettano studenti diplomati presso un Istituto Tecnico e talvolta offrono anche percorsi brevi. Tramite un'Università di Scienze Applicate è quindi possibile accedere a un corso di laurea triennale o magistrale presso un'università di ricerca (per i master a volte è necessario un anno aggiuntivo).

Se decidi di non frequentare il corso, puoi annullare l'iscrizione prima della data di inizio. You've choosen your University and course, great! But now you need to 'get in' and 'get through' the admission process. Missing a deadline can be crucial in the Netherlands. So make sure you are well informed! We've made a shortlist of most common mistakes.
1. "I've subscribed via studielink, so now I'm ready!" No! Check your mailbox and your spam filter for the mail that should arrive from the University of your choice. If it does not arrive within a few days, something is wrong. Contact the admission office of the University to check if your application arrives. Then follow the steps noted in the mail.
2. Taking your English test to late: some Universities give you time to pass the test until the start of the program (September 1st) but others demand it before they close their admissions (so January 15th for numerus fixus programs and May 1st for other programs). Make sure you have your certificate on time!
3. Waiting with subscribing until you have passed your exams in Italy. Don't! You'll be to late if you do that and it is not needed. You can send your diploma after graduating. Don't get spooked by 'the admission system' asking for your diploma all the time, they just want to make sure that you know that you still have to send it to be accepted.
4. Instituto Tecnico? Sorry, you will not always be accepted at a research University, but don't worry! There is a way, it might just be a bit longer. Applied Science Universities do accept students graduated from an Istituto Tecnico and sometimes even offer short tracks. Via an Applied Science University you can then enter in bachelor or master program at a research University (for masters sometimes a connective year is needed).

5. When I subscribed, I have to take the course, so I better wait till the last moment till I'm 100% sure. No! See it as a pre-subscription.
