Molti di voi sono preoccupati a causa delle scadenze per l'iscrizione universitaria, ora che le scuole sono chiuse e tutti i test di inglese sono stati cancellati. Molto comprensibile, sapendo che le università olandesi di solito ti chiedono di presentare il tuo certificato inglese e le copie tradotte della tua pagella entro una determinata scadenza (maggio o giugno) o anche entro 6 settimane dopo l'avvio della domanda. Per la maggior parte di voi sarà impossibile raccogliere i documenti necessari in tempo con le attuali misure di 'lockdown'. Goingdutch ha quindi chiesto alle università olandesi flessibilità con queste scadenze per gli Italiani. Alcune di loro hanno già risposto positivamente o stavano già discutendo su come organizzare al meglio il processo di ammissione in questi tempi di crisi. Importante è: - Iniziare la procedura di iscrizione entro maggio tramite Studielink, anche se non hai ancora tutti i tuoi documenti - mantenere attiva la comunicazione con l'Università e far sapere loro in modo proattivo quali problemi hai e quando hai notizie sugli esami, sulla riapertura delle scuole ecc.

Dutch Universities will in general be flexible with the deadlines for handing in documents on account of Coronavirus (COVID-19). Also some alternative solutions are offered for English tests & pagelle / official school reports.
Schools and universities in Italy have already been closed for weeks. That will last at least until the beginning of Mya. Also, all the English language tests have been cancelled for now. Because of the size of the lockdown in Italy, this leads to a significant backlog in the schools and also the language institutes. You might be able to imagine how difficult it will be to catch up on that when the quarantine is lifted. This leads to extra stress for many Italian students who want to study in the Netherlands from September.
"Can I get the needed documents from my school on time? Can I still take my language test on time and present the certificate to the University of my choice within the deadline?" Therefore, goingdutch calls on all Dutch institutions to please be flexible this year with the deadlines for supplying the requested certificates and documents. This is really force major. It would be very unfair to Italian students (and perhaps also French, Spanish, etc.) if they miss a year - after having to endure all the Corona difficulties in their exam year - because they cannot hand in a document on time.
We're happy to say that we already had positive replies from some Dutch Universities, stating that they will be more flexible this year.
Also most Universities decided to accept the online TOEFL English certificate this year which makes it possible for you to do the English exams from home. Do check before with you University, usually a special code connected to the University of your choice is required.
